CCPP-Block 1 VOEST Donawitz

Deionised water is generated from pre-cleaned stream water (multi-layer filtration) in the demineralisation system (floating bed process) with CO2 trickle and mixed bed filter 2 x 70 m³ / h (also in parallel operation). The resulting turbine condensate is processed in partial flow (150 m³ / h) via an automatically backwashing pleated candle filter (4 µm) and cation / anion / mixed bed filter. Deionate and pure condensate for supply to the boiler feed water are provided in common deionate tanks (5 x 50 m³) .
