GWT Wasser- und Wärmetechnik GmbH covers the Group’s original core business: drinking water, wastewater and industrial water treatment. Around 180 employees in Leobersdorf and Salzburg design, build and maintain systems of every size.



The portfolio also includes instrumentation, control and automation (electrical, measurement, control and regulation technology), chemical sales, and the international specialist field of Wiping Solutions Recovery for banknote and security printing—a patented technology for the physical cleaning of wiping solutions, used worldwide.

GWT Contracting

GWT Contracting GmbH is a subsidiary of GWT Schwimmbad und Therme, specialising in energy performance contracting (EPC) for swimming pools. It assesses the condition of existing facilities and develops tailored efficiency measures. The key benefit is that customers can enjoy energy savings without any investment or risk of their own, as costs are recovered through guaranteed savings over the contract term.

GWT Vertical Farmtec

Based in Sollenau, GWT Vertical Farmtec GmbH develops solutions for the agriculture of the future. At its core is the efficient use of water in closed-loop systems, an area in which GWT Group excels. Through vertical farming, the company is pioneering innovative approaches to make food production more sustainable and resilient. As a subsidiary of GWT Schwimmbad und Therme, it draws on the group’s extensive water treatment expertise.

GWT Swiss AG

Based in Regensdorf (ZH), GWT Swiss AG brings the Group’s expertise to the Swiss market as a subsidiary of GWT Schwimmbad und Therme. Its focus is on pool projects and providing customers with long-term support through service offerings. Everything is delivered to GWT’s established standards of quality, combined with a local presence and close customer relationships.

GWT Aquatech d.o.o.

Based in Maribor, Slovenia, GWT Aquatech d.o.o. expands the Group’s market presence in Southeast Europe. Its main focus is the installation and servicing of swimming pool systems. As a subsidiary of GWT Swimming Pools & Spas, GWT Aquatech also benefits from the Group’s network and quality standards.

GWT Holding

GWT Holding GmbH brings together the group’s central services. Departments ranging from accounting and controlling to IT and marketing are based here. This structure supports the operating companies and ensures they can focus entirely on their core technical activities.
