What your apprenticeship with us looks like
Duration: 3–4 years, depending on the apprenticeship.
On-the-job support: You work in a team in your specialist area. You also have access to apprenticeship trainers (Sollenau for “Swimming Pools & Spas”, Leobersdorf for “Water & Heating Technology”) and regular meetups with all apprentices.
Vocational school (Lower Austria):
- Design engineers: Neunkirchen vocational school
- Electrical technicians:
Neunkirchen or Stockerau - Office Administrator:
Waldegg - Metal Technician:
Neunkirchen
(10 consecutive weeks per apprenticeship year)
Qualification:
Apprenticeship final examination (theoretical & practical), registration up to 6 months before the end, examination no earlier than 10 weeks before the end of the apprenticeship; dates arranged through the Austrian Economic Chamber.
Your compensation (collective agreement)
Apprentice pay is based on the collective agreement (metalworking). As of 01.01.2025, without guarantee.
1st year of apprenticeship: Manual workers €970 / Office staff €920
2nd year of apprenticeship: Blue-collar workers €1,130 / White-collar employees €1,075
3rd year of apprenticeship: Blue-collar employees €1,465 / White-collar employees €1,415
4th year of apprenticeship: Manual workers €1,960 / Salaried employees €1,910
