For the combined-cycle power plant (CCPP) in Besmaya, GWT delivered a high-performance, 3-train water treatment plant for producing ultrapure water (demineralised water). As a CCPP relies on water with an extremely low salt content for the highly efficient operation of its gas turbines and steam boilers, a multi-stage treatment technology was installed. With a total capacity of 150 m³/h, the plant ensures a reliable supply to the power plant boilers.
