As part of the modernization of the municipal water supply, GWT delivered a state-of-the-art deacidification plant, including elevated reservoir equipment, in Friedberg. Since raw water in this region can often be aggressive due to excess carbon dioxide, a technical solution was implemented to chemically stabilize the water. This not only ensures excellent drinking water quality but also protects the municipality’s entire pipe network from corrosion over the long term.
